reentering corrections
Thank you Squeeze i appreciate it im glad to know this when i worked at KSR i know they welcomed
alot of new officers and they needed more. And that is what i wsas thinking that maybe they would take
50 yr olds because from my past experience they need officers and if your in good health i didn’t think age mattered tooo much! thanks again for yur reply!

about correcctions
i used to be a correction officer at Kentucky State Reformatory and
i was watching the 5 perils of being a co. I worked all the dorms and transportation and outside hospitals and wall towers. i have to say
this was a dangerous job and stressful but i worked with a bunch of good guys. i had one time downtown Louisville hospital i wrestled with an inmate. I had a lot of things going through my mind i sure didn’t want to
pull my pistol out! i called hospital security and the sent three big guys up to the room. That stopped it right there! but i thought i was
chicken but the said i did the right thing got it under control without
too much force!
i think a lot of officers because its a job that is overlooked and i believe that pay needs to be better and i wish i did have more training
in self defense! but i have to say i worked with a bunch of good guys
there! i feel apart of the correction community even though i don’t
work there anymore. I just want to say Godspeed to correction
officers!
