Topic: The Club House / Ohio DRC

TCI here, we had a vote for a recanvass which failed by one vote supposedly (alot of people weren’t allowed to have their vote counted as they were on medical leave/military leave etc. and wouldn’t take a phone in vote nor a vote that was notarized and brought in by another employee) and now we are switching to the Pick a post, which is nice for those w/seniority but not so much for those that transferred and what not. plus they abolished 8 posts already from us. getting kinda deep

Topic: The Club House / Anyone else doing a recanvass?

So here in the beautiful state of Ohio we took a bid at our institution for a recanvass that had failed by supposedly one vote, however they didnt allow some people to vote that were on sick leave/tried to call in a vote, etc. They have abolished posts that officers with high seniority had and will now be on relief. Since then they implemented a pick a post procedure that we had at another institution i had worked in and it was nice for those with higher seniority and in a union thats all we really have is seniority but do you think its fair to vote for a recanvass and not the pick a post? is this happening in your institutions? we have people on posts getting pulled off their post because someone who may spend more time in the capt. office calls and does what they do and gets their posts switched because they don’t feel like working with certain officers.. what’s your opinions on this??

Topic: The Club House / Do You Have Uniform Inspection?

We are suppose to have clean uniforms/trimmed facial but all the inmates run around with pants off their butt and facial hair for days due to “religious beliefs” and what not. kind of ridiculous, and if you did want some new uniforms thats pretty much non existant
