Topic: Security Central / Should OC use on juvenile offenders be restricted? NO. It should be used based on security threat, and officer safety. If a juvenile inmate has made a weapon or is using something as a weapon for the safety of the juvenile and staff OC would be the quickest, safest, and most resonable amount of force needed to return to regular the inmate to and the facility to regular programming. |

Topic: The Club House / Corrections or Law Enforcement Being behind the fence since graduating high school, I am a yard dog all the way. I have gone out on a few fugitive details and enjoyed the hunt. Corrections Department’s have investigators, and fugitive teams, as well as response teams(SWAT) Were as Police Dept. focus mainly on patrol with a small selct few for the other roles of a Policing Agancy. I would give Corrections a shot first. |
