My 43 year old sister is an inmate in a South Carolina prison. She has been there since April. About a month ago she had a mammogram and she has a 2 inch mass in one of her breasts. They repeated the mammogram adding an ultrasound. The mass was confirmed. The physician ordered an ASAP biopsy. It has been a month and she still has not had a biopsy.
The concern is great here because our mother was diagnosed with breast cancer 2 years ago. She had surgery, chemotherapy and radiation.
My mom and I are at a loss as to what we can do, who we can call or write about this.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
