I was medically retired from the Army National Guard (I was active,AGR) on 20150130 and I am looking for something else right now. I have been applying to civilian companies and I am finally getting my second interview this Thursday for a recruiting position but I am beginning to believe my qualifications and experience are not being taken seriously. With that I applied to the BOP for the Seagoville, Texas and Ft. Worth Texas positions about two weeks ago. How do I find out when they will start interviewing or pulling a list? Is there someone I can call that can give me a timeframe? I only ask because I would rather take this job and if I take a job somewhere else I don’t know how I would make time to interview etc.

Also, will me being 90% with the VA and possibly moving to 100% this year be a problem? I won’t be on Individual Unemployability so I will be able to work with no limitations. Thanks for the help in advance.
