You can give me a call – Montana trains our own DI’s and we have a very effective program. Our DI’s go thru their training then attend the Corrections Basic at the Acadmey so its a well rounded course. Rae Forseth, Programs Manger 406-444-9819 or email rforseth@mt.gov |

Hey, I recently got out of the Marines and back when I went to boot camp, Parris Island did a mentor ship for drill instructers from other countries. If your department contacted Marine Corps. Recruit Depot San diego I don’t see any reason why they couldn’t let you guys fly down and do some training. When I was stationed at camp pendleton Ca. law enforcement agencies from all over the country would come down and train on our base. Also I know that the Michigan Department Of Corrections has a really good boot camp program you could also contact them there located in Chelsea Michigan its called Special Alternative Incarceration (Boot Camp – SAI). I hope this helps |
